________
Why Palmer Inn?
Formerly known as The Inn at Mill Falls, Palmer Inn honors Samuel Palmer, a teacher of surveying and navigation who helped lay out much of the land surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee. In fact, the town of Meredith was originally known as "Palmer Town" in recognition of his contributions. Today, Palmer Inn stands as a tribute to this foundational figure in local history, blending timeless charm with a deep connection to place.
