Mill Falls Resort Collection at the Lake, Meredith (Lakes Region)
Set right on the banks of Lake Winnipesaukee, in the small town of Meredith, Mill Falls Resort Collection at the Lake is both a couples retreat and family-friendly resort. For optimal romance – stay in one of the smaller buildings right on the lake: the Boat House (with its “Adult Only” pool), and Birch Lodge.
What Makes it Romantic? A waterfront setting is always romantic. Some rooms have a jetted bathtub for two facing a window overlooking the lake. Boat House pools – for grownups – that can pass for hot-tubs inside, but join together in the outdoor pool. Couples Massage at the on-site Cascades Spa. You can get out on your own (rented) watercraft and avoid the littles, at least for an hour or two.
