You will need to provide a valid photo ID at check-in, together with a credit card for incidentals (even if your room is paid in full).

Why does Mill Falls pre-authorize my credit card?

Pre-authorization is a temporary hold on your credit line from a merchant who has initiated a charge but not completed it. At check-in, we swipe your card to ensure sufficient funds are available to settle your final bill and hold this amount throughout your stay. The amount depends on the length of your stay and the hotel you are in. No money is taken, but it will show as a pending transaction. The authorization lasts the length of your stay and can take up to five days after departure to be released. You may use a different card to pay your final bill. For questions, please inquire at the check-in area.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations must be cancelled by 4pm, 7 days prior to your arrival date, or you will forfeit your original deposit. A $30 processing fee applies to all cancelled reservations. Reservations canceled within 7 days will forfeit one night's room/package charge, plus tax. The full reservation amount will be charged for early departures, no call/no show, or non-cancelled reservations. Some rate plans have specific requirements outlined at the time of booking; please refer to your confirmation regarding rate plan restrictions.

What is your pet fee and policy?

We welcome pets in select accommodations with a nightly fee of $50.00, one pet maximum per room, 40 lbs. maximum. When housekeeping services are performed, pets must be crated or the owner must be present; otherwise, services will not be performed. Pets must be leashed in public areas on property. Pets are not allowed in areas where food is served, conference rooms, pools, fitness room, and Cascade Spa & Salon (seasonal outdoor pet-friendly seating is available at Town Docks, Lago, and Giuseppe’s). Pets may not be left unattended in rooms. Noise complaints will be directed to the pet owner; additional fees may apply if other guests are affected.

What is your stay over service policy?

To be environmentally conscious, stay over service is provided upon request only. Contact the front desk for housekeeping items and we will make every effort to accommodate. For guests staying multiple days, a full housekeeping service will be provided on day three.

Is Mill Falls on the water?

Church Landing and Bay Point are located directly on the waterfront of Lake Winnipesaukee. The Palmer Inn and The Chase House have lake views and are located across the street from the lake.

Do you have a pool or fitness room?

Palmer Inn features an indoor pool on the ground floor. Church Landing has a family indoor/outdoor pool in the main building and an adults-only pool in the boathouse building. Both locations also have hot tubs available.

What is EKAL Activity Center?

Our Ekal Activity Center is located at the Bay Point property at 1 NH Route 25, Meredith, NH, right on the waterfront, and is the hub for lake activities and rentals. Ekal is open May through October.

Yes. The Church Landing property features our Cascade Spa. Advance reservations are highly recommended as the spa gets booked quickly.

Can I use the facilities at a different hotel than my room is in?

Yes. Guests staying at any of the four Mill Falls Resort Collection at the Lake properties may use facilities at the other properties. Access to pools and fitness rooms located in a different building requires obtaining a keycard from the front desk.
