The Greater Meredith Program is partnering with New Hampshire Music Festival to bring classical music and local art to the Meredith Sculpture Walk along Lake Winnipesaukee.  On Friday, August 4, from 9:30-10:30, a creative morning Arts Walk will be set up in Hesky and Scenic Parks....

Summer is the perfect time to leave the car behind and get out for a walk or bike ride! Some of the best places to visit are those where you can park the car and not need it for the rest of your stay. We love towns that are easy to get around, especially by foot, and Meredith is one of the most pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly towns in NH. There are already some great pathways connecting the Village to many beautiful features of the Lakes Region, and now there is another nature trail in the works!

Now in its third year, “The Walk” promises to be just as fresh and interesting as ever with several new pieces to be chosen for this summer.

brochure coverOctober is here! Time to bring on full-force autumn! And with that comes some fabulous and spooky happenings around town. The Greater Meredith Program now brings you a “Spooktacular Series of Events” to occur throughout October… Treasure Chest prizes, a Zombie Walk, Spooky Palooza, and CSI New Hamshire are just a few of the events to be found in the October “Spooktacular” events guide and game card, compiled by the Greater Meredith Program. The Spooktacular Guide, listing all the local events along with a scarecrow contest, can be picked up at many participating local businesses, including Cackleberries Garden & Gift Shop, DAK Financial Group, Forest View Manor, Hermit Woods Winery, Meredith Library, Moulton Farm, Verani Realty, Meredith Bay Furniture Store, Annalee Gift Shop, Circle Dental, and the Winnipesaukee Playhouse. Each of these businesses is offering one or more special events to celebrate the big collaboration.

There are many chic shops in Meredith sporting trendy and stylish fashions for locals and visitors alike. Several of these shops will be joining creative forces to present an elegant evening by the Lake with a first-of-its-kind fashion show to benefit Meredith’s 250th Anniversary Celebration!

2014 ArtwalkSTROLLAs the days grow ever shorter and the winter nights come early over New England, we draw our attention indoors to pursue creative endeavors or gather with friends and family to honor warmth, light, and love. In this spirit, the Meredith Village Galleries have partnered with The Greater Meredith Program to present an evening of good cheer and sharing with a collaborative Christmas Stroll and Art Walk in this quaint lakeside village.
