10 Apr Meredith Getting “Dressed Up”
This little village on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee may be quaint, but it is not entirely old-fashioned! There are many chic shops in Meredith sporting trendy and stylish fashions for locals and visitors alike. Several of these shops will be joining creative forces to present an elegant evening by the Lake with a first-of-its-kind fashion show to benefit Meredith’s 250th Anniversary Celebration!
“Meredith Dressed Up” will be held Thursday, April 30th at 6:30 pm in the Winnipesaukee Ballroom at Church Landing. This fashion show will feature local businesses will be hosted by the Greater Meredith Program, an organization committed to enhancing Meredith’s economic vitality, historical and cultural heritage, and town-wide beautification. They will certainly highlight some of the town’s beauty at this event! All proceeds will benefit Meredith’s 250th Anniversary Celebration coming soon.
The evening will start with a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres, including a wine tasting from Hermit Woods Winery and assorted miniature desserts from Kara’s Café. The fashion show will also feature many door prizes, as well as a silent auction. Tickets are $50 per person and include one beverage voucher.
Local residents will model a collection of apparel from our Meredith Village shops, including Winni Denim and Supply Co., Adornments, Lady of the Lake, Bella Beads, The Guest House, A Creative Studio, Great Northern Trading Co., Providence, Gallery 51, The Country Carriage, and Bootleggers.
