Late Summer Outdoor Adventures at Gunstock

Gunstock Mountain Resort is well known for its excellent winter skiing and snowboarding, and for many years has also been a destination for hiking and scenic lift rides in the summer. However, in recent years, Gunstock has dramatically expanded its summer offerings to include camping, off-road guided Segway tours, and one of the longest Zipline courses in the country. Now Gunstock is better than ever with the addition of an Aerial Treetop Adventure Park, and this year’s newest thrill—the Mountain Coaster! Don’t let summer pass by without a trip to this NH fun spot that has something for everyone!

The ZipTour Ziplines are the most popular rides at Gunstock Mountain Adventure Park. Guests soar above the trees, from peak to peak and peak to base, for more than 1.6 miles at speeds of up to 70 mph along one of the longest zip line courses in the United States. You can control your speed and even make a stop to enjoy the spectacular views, making this a great adventure for thrill seekers and nature lovers alike!

Aerial Treetop Adventure is New England’s Largest Aerial Obstacle Course, built within the trees along Gunstock’s pond. The 8 courses include 91 different challenges that are securely suspended within the trees. Some of the features include log ladders, bridges, swings, seesaws, footbridges and, of course, lots of zip lines. There are many levels of adult courses, and an Explorer Course just for kids!

The Mountain Coaster opened with much fanfare this summer on August 13th. Gunstock’s newest gravity-based adventure has nearly 4100 feet of coaster tracks going down the side of the mountain. Riders enjoy cruising down the tracks in individual sleds that hold 1-2 people and can reach speeds of up to 25 mph. This fun new ride lasts about 6 minutes and is an absolute blast!

Gunstock Mountain has so much to offer, it’s impossible to list it all here! Let’s just say this place is where you can create a new summer or fall tradition for your family. After the Labor Day holiday, the Adventure Park activities will be open weekends through Columbus Day. For more information, please visit or call 603-737-4388.
